Blue Source offers a turnkey solution for growers and agricultural service providers seeking new sources of carbon revenue without upfront cost or risk. Blue Source helps evaluate carbon revenue potential of changes in tillage, cropping, rangeland, fertilizer or manure management practices. If the decision is made to proceed, we can oversee and finance all phases of project development, from project protocol and project design to third party validation, verification and registration. Finally, Blue Source’s experienced marketing team monetizes the project through the sale of Verified Emission Reduction (VER) credits, maximizing carbon revenue. The grower simply starts receiving carbon revenues without any upfront investment risk.
Blue Source provides these services based on a carbon revenue sharing plan agreed to with the grower. This means that growers participate fully in market upside, while Blue Source takes on the upfront cost and associated risk in the event that carbon revenues fail to materialize. Since our compensation depends entirely on carbon revenues realized, our interests are aligned with the grower in maximizing net carbon revenue over the duration of the project.
