Our management team offers unmatched experience from their decades of work at the top levels of North America’s most pioneering energy, energy trading, private equity and environmental firms. From our team’s involvement in the earliest days of mitigating the risk of greenhouse gas emissions, through our development of nearly all commercial anthropogenic CO2 pipelines in North America in the last 20 years, we authored or co-authored many of the original methodologies for offset projects.
Presently, we have offices in San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Denver, Houston, Raleigh, New York City and Calgary.
While management’s experience and expertise in the carbon economy dates to the mid-1990s in the North American markets, the company was formalized in 2001 by CEO Bill Townsend, former president and co-founder of Petro Source Carbon Company, and President Greg Spencer, former senior vice president-treasurer of American Stores. Today, our senior management team now includes Executive Vice President Russell Martin, formerly of Kinder Morgan and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Erik Katz, formerly of Blackstone.
